The Oban/Craignure crossing takes about 45 minutes and should be booked in advance. There is also a Lochaline/Fishnish car ferry which requires no bookings.

Route to The Steadings from Craignure.

Take the A849 towards Fionnphort.  At the head of Loch Scridain, turn right on to B8035 to Gruline.  After 5 miles turn left to Tiroran (1 mile).  Continue on road past gates to Tiroran House.  The Steadings is through a gate across the road.
